We help Government of Canada professionals achieve their BBB/C linguistic profile comfortably and efficiently.
Our specialized self-paced video training leverages the English you already know, using clear bilingual instruction so you can learn quickly yet without stress — usually in under 35 hours for motivated learners.
It is the most affordable professional French training available, with lifetime access for just $350 and nearly 100% success as a trusted supplier to the Government of Canada.
You already know a lot of French because you know English: the two languages share about 80% of their roots from Greek and Latin. This foundation lets you activate thousands of professional words right away.

Also for TEF Canada, TCF Canada, and Express Entry
This remains a Government of Canada French school. Public servants and the Public Service Commission tests come first. The same recording is the second path, for professionals in India, Indian-Canadians, and other Express Entry candidates who already speak English and need the French points.
The published target is NCLC 7. A Government of Canada B is that band of work.
IRCC’s French-language category requires NCLC 7 in all four skills. Only TEF Canada and TCF Canada count. NCLC 7 or higher can add 25 CRS points, or 50 if English is also at least CLB 5. In India a four-skill TEF Canada sitting is about ₹26,000, and a failed sitting is paid again. The federal application plus the right-of-permanent-residence fee is CAD $1,365 before the exam, the credential assessment, and the medical. This program is $350, lifetime access. Less than one exam sitting. It is not a promise of an invitation.

Our Approach and Methodology
Notre Approche et Méthodologie
Le Programme accéléré uses your existing knowledge of English to learn French quickly yet comfortably, and so for people with some existing knowledge yet who need a quick overhaul for their GC career or professional career alike, we generally start the first module: "Things in Common" which covers about 4000 to 5000 words you already know because you know the English language.
Since French and English are both 40% Greek and 40% Latin, they are basically 80% the same language, and we capitalize on this to quickly gain momentum and confidence. Very motivating as we get immediate results right after our very first 2-hour session. We then move onto "Verb Tenses (And Their Respective Use)", which is the second module, as verb tenses will change meaning depending on context.
With both WORDS and VERBS plus some Vocab Acquisition techniques that we offer right away, you are now conversational. Our training would generally cover both the Écrit and Oral test simultaneously at this point, working together towards fast results.
This same program is available in a Self-paced format, which is identical to our one-on-one training at a fraction of the cost, as each lesson is pre-recorded. Please note that in Self-paced training you still have access to a teacher via email to support you through your journey.
Although this is our general approach, please note that your training is generally tailored to your specific needs by focusing on your exact personal challenges with the language towards your specific goals. That is how we get positive results every time.

About Gift of the Gab French Language Services
À propos de Gift of the Gab French Language Services
As a second-generation teacher and translator, Gift of the Gab French Language Services brings a lifelong foundation in precise bilingual communication. The school was built on the standards of professional language use in Canada’s public service. Growing up in the French-Canadian context of the National Capital Region, combined with experience as a former programmer at the Government of Canada and multiple diplomas in education-related fields, has equipped the school with intimate knowledge of administrative and professional French terminology and its critical role across public service domains.
With a lifetime of teaching French and 10 years in business with Public servants on a very wide-scale, after working for all other major language schools, Gift of the Gab French Language Services noticed schools were not capable of getting people back to work quick enough as they focused on teaching French to adults like they were kids. Knowing this, the school created a highly effective andragogy-based program.
